Event Description ENG:

The United Irish Societies of Montreal and Ciné Gael have come together to bring you the film that took Ireland by storm last year, The Irish Pub.Tickets are only $10.

THE IRISH PUB is a celebration of the greatest institution in Irish Society, the pub or more specifically the traditional Irish publicans who run them. The characters in this exceptionally endearing film all run and own pubs that have been in their families for generations and and it is through their warmth, wit and wisdom that we gain an insight into the heart and soul of THE IRISH PUB.

But it is the universal message that really touches the heart & mind by changing what isn't broken we risj losing everything. It is family and community and chat that matters the most. You'll laugh your hearts out in parts, and may feel misty eyed at others. And by the end you'll most likely want to visit your local.

Screening will take place at Concordia's De Sève Cinema
1400 de Maisonneuve blvd West, Montreal
